LEBANON

Since 2016, Silkroad artists and staff have traveled to Lebanon to engage with students, teachers, and families in and around Beirut and the Beqaa Valley. In partnership with Jusoor, Right to Play, and other NGOs, Silkroad leads community-driven performances and workshops in art-making and storytelling to build hope, empowerment, and connection for both local and displaced refugee families.

(L) Young Syrian and Palestinian refugees shared the stage with Yo-Yo Ma and Silkroad artists, playing music composed by students as part of the Right To Play Lebanon initiative.
