2022 PROJECTS

Silkroad Seeds acts as a key engine of Silkroad’s creative output, encouraging the members of our artistic collective to contribute meaningful and impactful work towards building a more hopeful and inclusive world. Seeds support ranges from $2,500 to $10,000, which serves to fund an initial workshop or development of an idea, see certain projects through to fruition, or even incubate an idea that then develops into a Silkroad touring or educational initiative.

What would happen if underserved kids from a Northern Cheyenne Reservation in Montana encounter K-pop sensations in Seoul? Or if musicians brought outreach programs and performances to borderland communities in Lebanon divided along religious, political, socio-economic, and ethnic lines?  Life-changing opportunities would unfold!
